Parked nearby and need some caffeine before work. Found this on Yelp. Good recommendation. Good coffee, good service and good cake. The real bonus is you can stare out of the big glass window and look at downtown Detroit while you enjoy your hot or cold coffee.

After visiting a few times, I wanted to share the charm of Dessert Oasis. Located in a convenient spot in Downtown Detroit, this well-sized cafe offers an intimate vibe with great coffee. The drinks aren't overly sweet and the coffee is bold. I will say, the lattes to me taste all generally the same but it's coffee nonetheless. The pumpkin cheesecake is immaculate, as are these little pastries they had. They were filled with feta and spinach, but I don't remember the name. You'll know if you see them! Anyways, they have a few nice spots to sit inside although it's not exactly super serene. Keep that in mind if you prefer quiet. However, one thing I love is that they have community flyers and posters everywhere, so you can always expect to find out what's happening locally by stopping by here. It's worth noting that they also sell coffee-related products aside from coffee beans-- they have coffee machines, filters, merch, and more. Go check it out, and tell them I sent you! (Just kidding, they will have no idea who you're talking about. )

I really like Dessert Oasis - this was my second time here! They have a ton of teas, great pour over options, and even non-coffee mochas and a lot of menu items for folks who aren't into coffee at all. It's located downtown in a great location and was the perfect midday pitstop while exploring the city.

Ordered caramel Latte; and red velvet cheesecake. Both were good as expected from aroma of coffee and presentation of cheesecake. Service was quick and very friendly.

Love this place it's a coffee shop that doubles as a music venue. Employees are really friendly and the area is centered and convenient. The pistachio latte was great. Could have used another round.

Delicious mocha on my way to conference day 1. Went around 7am, looks like a great place to kick it for homework, studying or coffee date. Thank you!

I tried the washed Peruvian pour-over. Very clean taste, didn't have to wait long, just the typical pour-over pour time. Also had the coffee cake 3.5/5. WiFi is fast. Plenty of seating, lots of coffee choices. Has a bathroom (need a code and to be a customer)

Staff was kind - even during the busy first day of the draft they took the time to explain their coffee options to me and were friendly. The coffee itself was tasty and high quality. I usually get cream in my iced coffee but didn't this time and still really enjoyed it. The tiramisu was phenomenal. Cute space too.

I love this cafe located in Capitol Park! It's very spacious inside, lots of seating options. There is a little performance stage in the back and I hear they have an open mic night. They also have an area to purchase swag and coffee related paraphernalia. Excellent service and I loved my matcha latte. My favorite part is that they have a sign that declares that everyone is welcome there. I look forward to returning.
